Helium Terms

By processing your order, you agree to the following terms and conditions and accept full responsibility for the Helium Cylinder, its contents, and its use until it is returned to our premises or the local depot you collected it from.
Rental Charges
The Helium Cylinder is subject to a monthly rental charge.
- Initial rental: £20.00 + VAT per cylinder (first month)
- Ongoing rental: £18.00 + VAT per cylinder, per month (via Direct Debit)
Direct Debits are processed on the 1st of each month. If a payment fails, GoCardless will retry 3–4 times per month. Their fees (which will be charged to you) are:
- 1st attempt: £5.00 + VAT
- 2nd attempt: £7.50 + VAT
- 3rd attempt or cancelled DD: £15.00 + VAT
Unused Helium
No refunds or partial refunds will be issued for unused helium remaining in a cylinder.
Cancellation
You may cancel your agreement at any time by returning the cylinder to our premises or your local depot.

No refunds are issued for the month in which the cylinder is returned. Your account will be adjusted and the Direct Debit cancelled. Any credit owed will be processed within 30 days.
Safety and Usage
- Do not inhale helium. Helium is an inert gas and cannot sustain life. Inhaling helium can cause oxygen displacement, serious injury, or death.
- Do not release helium balloons outdoors. It is environmentally irresponsible, often illegal, and may incur fines. You are responsible for preventing such releases.
- Secure cylinders safely. Cylinders are heavy and must be stored upright and stable to prevent injury or damage.
- Transport safely. Do not transport cylinders in an enclosed vehicle; always ensure good ventilation.
- Use in ventilated spaces only. Never use helium in confined or enclosed areas.
Ownership
All helium cylinders remain the property of the manufacturer and Wholesale Party Supplies Ltd, Unit 17 Winchester Road, Haydock Industrial Estate, Haydock, WA11 9XQ. We reserve the right to cancel any helium agreement with immediate effect.
Faulty Cylinders
Please check that your cylinder is full before leaving our premises or your local depot. Refunds cannot be given for partially full cylinders.
If a cylinder appears faulty, notify us immediately to arrange a return. A replacement will be charged, and the original cylinder will be tested by the manufacturer (6–8 weeks). If deemed faulty, a full refund will be issued. If not, no refund will be provided (final decision by the manufacturer).
Damaged or Lost Cylinders
If a cylinder is returned damaged or lost, you will be liable for the cost of a replacement cylinder.
